Characteristics differ between variants of a connector

The FXS connector is a space-saving flip lock type connector with 1.8mm (.071") height and only 3.85mm (.152") depth. Compared to the conventional 0.3mm (.012") pitch connector, the height and depth are reduced, yet maintain equivalent performance. A metal shaft inside the cover is retained by the reinforcement tabs. This structure prevents the cover from coming off as well as contributing to operational improvements. By using the reinforcement tab as a hook instead of using resin, this new locking system has improved the locking strength. Space saving design Compared to the conventional 0.3mm (.012") pitch connector, the height and depth are reduced, yet maintain equivalent performance. Rotating cover structure A metal shaft inside the cover is sustained by the reinforcement tabs. This structure prevents the cover from coming off as well as contributing to operational improvements. Locking structure This new locking system, which uses the reinforcement tab as a hook instead of using resin, has improved the locking strength.
