Techno's IP68 connector range used for LED lighting in sunprotection screens

Situation:
To be able to integrate LED lighting into sun protection screens, our customer was looking for a compact connector that can be assembled on site with a plug and socket connection, and that is fully waterproof.
Solution:
Techno’s plug and socket connector TH387 was advised in combination with the in-line joint connector TH391. Both connectors have the size of a 1 euro coin, are IP68 protected and allow for an easy field assembly. Besides, they are very ‘installer friendly’ as the connector gaskets are co-moulded with plastic which prevents seal leakage or improper installation from occurring.
