JST J-FAT-S-XL connector. This 8.0mm pitch wire to board connector provides innovative new features compared to other standard terminal block connections. As opposed to a traditional SCrew-termination method, the J-FAT-S-XL enables the wires to be attached via a unique spring-clamp receptacle. This 2-piece system method provides a secure contact retention and protection against wires getting accidentally pulled out. This is a terminal free connector, the wire is simply stripped and pushed into the connector by the use of a small hand tool. Available in 3 and 6 circuits, the J-FAT-S-XL connector has a current rating of 23A AC,DC when using AWG#10 with the 3 circuit connector. Excellent contacting reliability Spring provides the gas-tight area between wire and terminal, and the stable high reliable contact is given. Terminal free connector The connector features an internal spring lock mechanism which removes the need to have a separate crimp terminal.
